AUDI R8 GEN 2 FACELIFT AND PRE-FACELIFT GT STYLE SIDE SILL & SKIRT REPLACEMNT

At Automotive Passion, we have engineered a pair of Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Fibre side sill replacements with integrated side skirt replacements specifically for the Audi R8 Gen 2 2016-2023. Side skirts are a full sill replacement for the factory body painted panel, using all original mounting point and clip locations on the chassis allowing compatibility on all Gen 2 model years giving you the latest FL GT appearance.

Our goal was to offer a GT Style side skirt that would be compatible on both the pre FL (2016-2019) and FL (2020-2023) models. We were able to achieve this by making a full sill replacement with the side skirt integrated as 1 piece, sharpens the car’s side silhouette while maintaining factory fitment and ensuring lightweight functionality.

During the design phase, we carefully shaped the skirts to work with natural airflow along the lower body. This was achieved through our in-house aerodynamic simulation software, allowing us to run dynamic wind speed testing on CAD models and engineering drawings. This optimisation helps manage side turbulence and contributes to overall aerodynamic balance at high speeds.

All parts are manufactured from high-quality pre-preg dry carbon fibre, finished in Glasurit clear coat with full UV protection finished in glossy finish making for an exact match of the factory carbon.

Install:

The side skirts are full replacements, not stick over covers which add to overall vehicle weight, replacing the factory sills with integrated side skirts. Original scuff plate/sill plates are to be removed from the original sills and transferred over to the carbon replacement. Designed as plug-and-play components, using original mounting points and clip positions.

For best results we recommend professional installation by a body shop to ensure precision and durability.
